Lost photo when emailing from Word 2007

I create a company newsletter each week in Word that I then distribute using
the "Send To Mail Recipient" option. For some reason, photos get "lost" when
they're emailed, meaning they show up fine in Word but aren't there when the
email is opened in Outlook (just a space where there should be).

Any suggestions??
