You are using the web interface to access these newsgroups. What you might
not know is these are actually Usenet newsgroups, not forums. The web
interface is awful. It is much better to use a newsreader to access
newsgroups. XP comes with Outlook Express which can be setup for newsgroup
access. Here is a link on how to do that. Try it, you will find, after
learning how things work, which isn't too hard in OE, that the experience is
much, much better.
