lost partition table

I made a small mistake (really stupid one) but I removed the partition
for my Maxtor Basic Personal storage 3200.

Does anyone know of some software that will recover the (1) partiton
table and (2) files on the drive?

First off don't do anything to the drive.

There are plenty of file recovery utilities...
I know as a fact that partition magic can recover a deleted drive entirely

If you deleted the entire partition... PM should be able to find it and
recover it...
Should your problem be elsewhere...then some other 3rd party utility may be
in order
