lost outlook express emails and address book

My husband switched our hard drive from our old computer to our new computer
but in the process somehow lost all the emails and the address book in
Outlook Express. Nothing was changed or re-formatted, just swithed from one
pc to another. Tried searching for *.dbx files or folders, no luck there also
tried outlook.pst but can't seem to import. Any suggestions out there? Would
be greatly appreciated considrering we're lost without them and have been
searching for them more then a week.

Select Start, Control Panel, Folder Options,
View, Advanced Settings and verify that the box before "Show hidden
files and folders" is checked and "Hide protected operating system files
" is unchecked. You may need to scroll down to see the second item. You
should also make certain that the box before "Hide extensions for known
file types" is not checked. Next in Windows Explorer make sure View,
Details is selected and then select View, Choose Details and check
before Name, Type, Total Size, and Free Space.

Search My Computer again using Windows Explorer. Use "*.db*" without the
quotes as the search criteria. Make the first three Advanced search
options in Windows Explorer before starting the search.

If you get a result post back to this thread for further advice.
