Lost Options Under Control Panel

I just installed XP on my son's machine and there are two options that are
not showing when I click on Contol Panel | Perfomance and Maintenance. I
only see Administrative Tools and Scheduled Tasks. Power Options and System
is missing. Any ideas how to get these two options back. I'm logged on as
Admin.

open start->help and support........
find Perfomance and Maintenance in lower left side of
window next to printer icon.
search for power options and system....it is there.

Jill, that's not was I was looking for. These options should be under
Performance and Maintenance via the Control Panel. I have these options on
two other XP machines in my home, but for some reason they are gone from my
Son's machine.
