Lost navigation

I just published one of web sites from web to my new
computer so that I could transfer it.. Transfer went well
but I seem to have lost navigation... I can see the
navigation structure in the Navigation view but my links
are gone. It is asking me to add this page to the
navigation structure. Please explain in simple terms what
I should do. Thank you

If you published using FTP (or Import) you missed the
stuff that involves navigation.

To get all of the working files you should publsih using
the "http" method. This rqquires that your site is hosted
on a server with the Front Page Extensions.

Baring the above, recreate your navigation.

I published it in Front page by using the software in
FRont page. I went to front page opened it on the web
then used the front page publishing tool to publish it to
the my webs folder where I had already created a blank
web. The site has alot of pages where I would have to
recreate the navigation. How do I do this.... just add
each page by dragging and dropping to the Navigation view
on top of the one that is already there? They are all
listed when I look at them in the navigation view but the
links do not appear on the pages. Please help

When you publish use the Publish All option and when asked about navigation select the replace option
Also check your nav view to make sure the home page has the home icon in it and that non of your file names have spaces in them
Run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks
