I was just using the internet this morning and I lost the connection
When I tried to get IE to bring up the auto connect dialog it could not find anything and would not connect me to the internet
I immediatly thought that it was my modem and I replaced it but I still could not get IE to connect me
I then went to start>connect to> and chose the new dialup connection that I just made and it dialed up fine
When I start up IE without an active connection it thinks for a few and then gives me the "work offline" dialog

For the life of me I donot know what I did to make it behave this way
I have a piii 833 desktop XP Pro IE 6.0 sp
I have the connection setting to always dial up my connectio
I am running ICS but I don't think that had anything to do with it
Thanks, Mike
