I went into my user accounts to add 2 more accounts...for my kids. When I
restarted it, my account was gone!!! I go to school and this is all of my
information. I'm freaking out. Anyone that can help is awesome! Not sure
what happened, but can I get it back some way??????

I know what happened, cause i did it too. There is an "Administrator" user
which comes with xp home edition standard but is only visible if there are no
other user accounts (other than visitor account) or from safe mode. U
probbaly used this as your main account as I did too, which worked fine until
u added another account. However how to restore this user Id or its settings
is beyond me.

Do you get a text in your notebook when you open your user accounts that
reads something like:

[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21787

Cause that is what i get.

First, take a deep cleansing breath. Your stuff is not gone. I'm willing
to bet that you were using the built-in Administrator account (*not* a
good idea). It is normal that the Administrator account will disappear
after you make another account with administrator privileges.

You will need to make a new account for yourself and copy the other user
account's settings to it. Here are links to walk you through doing
this. You will need to log into the new account once before you can
copy anything to it.
