Windows XP Pro SP2 computer - Has full accesss to the local network, but can
not access the internet (all other computers on the network do access the
internet). Problem started while Norton AntiVirus was scanning and file
corruption apparently occurred. Fire wall is off System Restore did not
work.
Suggestions?

You're giving us very little information here.

How did you access the Internet when it worked? Are you using ICS, or are
all systems connected to a router/switch? Do you know if your NIC is still
working? Do you still have an IP address?

Need way more info.....

The computer is fully functional on the network. It can see and be seen by
the other computers on the network. As soon as I attempt to access the
internet I get the page can not be displayed. The computer has an IP
address, can ping the router and can be pinged by another computer. It just
will not go on the internet.
