I seem to have lost my hibernate feature after a failed attempt at running a
MAC emulator (SOFTMAC).
I wonder if this software has clobbered the hibernate feature.
When I go to control panel POWER options- there is
no hibernate TAB.
I haven't changed anything in the BIOS and when I looked in BIOS there
had been NO changes.
I have already tried a WIN REPAIR AND AN UPGRADE. But Still no change.
The only thing left is to re-install WIN 2000 completely. or try this on a
separate partition
Is it possible that Softmac could have physically damaged the
motherboard/BIOS? I have a terrible feeling that even a re-install may not
help me esp if the REPAIR feature could not help.
Thanks in advance
