After using steganos version 3 'internet destructor' I
have found that nearly all of my picture files have
emptied themselves. The files are all still there and the
individual photograph names are there but the files
contain no data at all can any one suggest anyway to
retrieve this data

Nope - it's gone. That'll teach you to be more careful in future, instead of
rushing headlong into doing something that could potentially harm your
system - ever heard of backing up? Suggest you do so in future so, the next
time you decide to do something stupid, you won't lose anything.
