lost files from system crash

My HDD crashed
I had all files on HDD copied to a new HDD (very costly)
booted up to new HDD
Cannot find current Outlook files.
All .PST's were saved on a different HDD, so I still have them.
What I'm missing is the current email files over the last month or two that
were not saved to .PST files.
Where does Outlook keep these files?
Any way to get them back?
I have not attempted any installs or deletions from this new HDD yet.

Thanks for the web site.
That info was right on the money.
looks like the file name was outlook.pst
I just followed the instructions and all the current email was right there.
