Lost email accounts and rules

Ravi

I recently used detect and repair on microsoft outlook 2002
and removed all my custom settings. I lost my email accounts
and rules. How can I get them back? Where are they stored?

TIA.

This group is read by a bunch of fools. You won't get your
answer here.

Running Detect and Repair should not have touched your Accounts and rules.
Rules are stored in the .pst file. Your accounts should be accessible from
the Tools->Email Accounts option in Outlook. Using Control Panel, Mail
Applet, what do you show under Profiles? Then Properties for each profile?

I get only one profile "outlook". But all my email accounts
are gone :(

Ok I added the old pst file in the profile and set it as
the default location for storing incoming mail. After I
added my first account I noticed all my rules for all pop
accounts came back. However I could not recover the rules
for my imap accounts. I tried to look in every place I could
but I still could not recover my email accounts. Any
solutions?

TIA.
