lost donwload of build 5744

I have just download and lost the download? using the download manager that
is recommended while downloading vista build 5744.

I have read previous posts about this, but I am still unable to locate the
iso file.

Does anyone have any help for me to find this pesky file as I would like to
burn it do disk and delete the offending file once done.

If the file is untraceable how do I recover the space it is occupying (quite
a large amount of space when you consider that I am running vista on a 30
gig HD)

Any help/ advice would be gratefully accepted and appreciated.

If you follow the suggested path, how far do you get toward the Virtualized
folder?

Make sure you have show hidden files selected in folder options. You really
don't need this, but it seems to help.

Otherwise, change the user in the below path and copy and paste somewhere in
an address window to get to the Virtualized folder. You file may be in
there.

C:\Users\You\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet
Files\Virtualized

had the same problem. like clark said make sure you show hidden folders in
your settings. I did a search for *.iso after that and found it! Ofcourse
I immediately moved it to where I could remember and easily access to burn!

akamai download manager told you where to save the file when you started the
download.

.... but it was not where I set them with the download manager?

P.S All is OK now as I have got the iso file and have upgraded to the new
build.

I was also having issues downloading the news iso files. After I would
download it the almost 2 hours that it took it would just "disappear". I dont
remember how I figured it out I disables the "protected mode" in internet
explorer and the re-downloaded it and the file was where I saved it then.
