Lost Desktop

I added a password to my account and now when I log on I
get nothing but my wallpaper. No desktop, start menu,
task bar, nothing! How can I get back into the control
panel and remove my password?

I have the same problem, except I can log on to a sub
user, but not onto the Admin

Hope this helps:

Press Control+Alt+Delete keys, (The dialog box for Windows Task Manager
opens)
Select the File menu, then New Task (Run), (The dialog box for Create New
Task opens)
Type in "Explorer" (without the quotes)
Press OK button.

Hopefully Windows Explorer restarts with the Taskbar and Start button.
