Lost desktop icon

I've somehow lost the small desktop icon next to 'Start' which closes all
windows and gives immediate access to the desktop.

How do I get it back?

1. Open Notepad,
2. Copy/Paste following lines in it :

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

3. Click File, Save as..
4. Copy/Paste the following line in File name box :
%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\Show Desktop.scf
5. Click OK

Hi ... In that same blue area ( Which is known as the Taskbar ) where you
did see these icons where , If you place your mouse there and right click ,
Select properties , Then place a check mark " Show Quick Launch , Then
click apply , then Ok
