I have Office pro 2007. My laptop, with XP sv3 has crashed and burned. I
retrieved the HD to pull all my data from it and then reload on my new faster
laptop. Problem I cant locate the data (stored emails and contacts and
calendar) on the old drive. I was able to bypass the security for other
folders, but cant locate the stored emails. etc. Hopefully ya'll can help.

All your data is in a hidden file - called (by default) Outlook.pst. You
need to do a search for *.pst and include hidden files in your search.
You may also need to take ownership of the file before you can open it in
Outlook.(BTW, do NOT use the import function....)

The default location for the PST is
x:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
Open Windows Explorer and enter this path in the Address bar, replacing "x"
with your current drive letter for the old drive and "user" with your old
username. Click Go.
