Lost compression facility

I received a rar file so installed a program to extract it. Afterwards I
uninstalled the program I no longer have the normal zip utility. How can I
get it back?

I am having this same problem. I download a third party extract software for
a one-time only file and now when I go to compress files, it doesn't work. I
have tried the fixes attached to this thread, but it doesn't help. Does
anyone else have any more ideas?

Tried these two commands from Start/Run?

regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll

and then:

regsvr32 zipfldr.dll
