I've lost my Command Prompt on my XP machine and have tried to use System
REstore to return to a date prior to accepting some updates from MS (not
100% sure this was the cause...) and can't seem to get it back. Any ideas
as to where to start here?

Thanks,

OHD

Dude,

Did you lose the shortcut, or does the "cmd" command not work?

If you lost the shortcut, make a new one.
# Right click on the desktop, choose New - Shortcut.
# Enter"%SystemRoot%\system32\cmd.exe" (less the "") into the Location box, hit
Next.
# Give the shortcut a name, hit Next.
# Put the new shortcut where you wish.
