See this article on Adobe’s website - it suggests a number of solutions that
may help (try Solution 1 first):
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowle...96b91817c211&stateID=1+0+67846527&mode=simple.
Some additional information:
Normally, there should be two menus: “Adobe PDF†and “Acrobat Commentsâ€. The
menus do not seem to be very stable, especially if you have other add-ins
installed that also adds menus to the Menu Bar. If the solutions in the Adobe
article do not solve the problem, you could try this:
Select Tools > Templates and Add-Ins. In the list of global templates and
add-ins, you should see two items that belong to Adobe Acrobat: PDFMaker.dot
and PDFMakerA.dot. Deselect these two items and any other items and click OK.
Select Tools > Templates and Add-Ins again. Now select PDFMaker.dot and
PDFMakerA.dot (do not select other items, if any). Click OK.
Note that you can run the Adobe PDF menu commands via Tools > Macro > Macros
even if the Adobe PDF menu is not visible (provided PDFMaker.dot is listed
and checked in Tools > Templates and Add-Ins).
Below you will find the macro names corresponding to the menu items in the
Adobe PDF menu:
“Convert to Adobe PDFâ€:
AdobePDFMaker.AutoExec.ConvertToPDF
“Convert to Adobe PDF and Emailâ€:
AdobePDFMaker.AutoExec.ConvertToPDFandEmail
“Convert to Adobe PDF and Send for Reviewâ€:
AdobePDFMaker.AutoExec.ConvertToPDFAndSendForReview
“Change Conversion Settingsâ€:
AdobePDFMaker.AutoExec.DoPrefsForm
