lost COA

I need to reinstall windows xp pro. I do not have the
COA. I do have the product number. The license that was
used to install it the first time was a corporate
edition, do I even need the COA?

Actually, there is no such thing as WinXP "Corporate Edition."
That is a term applied exclusively to pirated (iow, stolen) copies of
the Volume Licensed WinXP Pro by the "warez" aficionados.

Only the CD and Product Key are required to perform the
installation, although the CoA is your documentation of a legitimate
license.
