Lost CD-Key for Media Center Extender

Hello,

I am not sure if this is in the right forum.

I recently had to restore my Dell Media Center computer back to
manufacturer's defaults. When I went to reinstall the software for my Linksys
WMCE54AG Media Center Extender I was horrified to find out I had lost the CD
sleeve that contains the 25 digit CD Key. I called Linksys and they said to
call Microsoft. Microsoft sales said I had to call Linksys.
Can somebody please help !!!!

They're both wrong. Call Dell--if this software came from them.
 
Not if Dell's warranty for the Linksys product has run out. Call Dell if
Linksks is still under the Dell warranty. Call Linksys if Dell's warranty
for that product has expired. Had the same issue with a Gateway computer
where the Visioneer scanner went bad. My Gateway warranty had ran out and
was told to call Visioneer.
