lost cd icon

after updating the PC. I had no icon to access the cd or
dvd rom drive. I retored to before the update on my XP
PC ,but that feature did not work on the ME OS. How do I
get it back

Are they in the device manager..? If so uninstall them and reboot, just
something to try.

If you have installed an earlier version of Roxio Easy CD Creator, uninstall it and apply this fix:
