GrandMa's auto complete in outlook 2003 To: address has been working fine.
Today, nothing happens when she types in the first letter of a name.
After sending a few email, the newly sent name appear when entering the
first letter, but still nothing of the older addresses.
Is there a file that has been corrupted and do the "new sent addresses"
start a new file. What's the name and where can I find it?
thanks, as GrandMa is very unhappy with me today.

Autocompletion is a very fragile feature in Outlook. Outlook frequently
stops writing to the autocompletion cache correctly or loses its connection
to that file. There isn't much you can do about it except use third party
software:

You might be able to create a new profile from scratch, find your old cache
file, and then rename it to match the new profile to get the old data back.

Thanks for your response. It acts just like you explained and the newly
entered names do appear.
She had the same problem with the address line in Internet Explorer 6 where
she now has to enter http:// for a web address to work.
Do you know if this is the same problem?
