My laptop will not allow me to log on to the Administrator Account.
The only password I have ever used will no longer work.
Any idea how to fix this?
Could it be that the computer now thinks it is on a different Domain and
wants a different password?

I don't have a clue as to how this happened. I use the same password for the
Administrator accounts on all of the family computers. I am the non-paid
fixer when problems occur.

Windows XP Home can not be a member of a domain so that would not be the
problem. You could try too boot into Safe Mode to see if it works. Other
problems could be to make sure you do not have cap locks set and maybe you
have a keyboard problem. With a laptop you can hook up an external keyboard
to one of the ports in the side/back. --- Steve
