lost address book and personal files Outlook 2000

I lost my address book and personal files! I was able to get outlook back but
with no address book or personal folders. I have tried running *.pst but
nothing comes up and I am checking the box to show "hidden folders". Before I
got outlook back it was asking me to run THE INBOX REPAIR TOOL. I went there
but when it asked for the file it didn't show anything. I know these file
shave to be somewhere? right?
 
When you say you "lost" the address book (impossible to lose since it only
has a virtual existence) and your personal folders, what exactly did you do
to lose them? If you have no personal folders, how did you "get back"
Outlook?

Finally, please understand we are not looking over your shoulder so as much
detail as you can provide is most helpful when troubleshooting issues with
Outlook and any other piece of software.
