Lost Address Bar

Brian

The address box for http://... has disappeared on
Explorer. I have searched high and low through options
and help articles, but I still can't find it anywhere.
View/Toolbars/Address Bar is checked, but it still does
not appear. I also have View/Status Bar checked.

If anyone knows a quick way to reset Explorer settings
quickly, that would also be appreciated for future
reference. Thanks.

If you see the smallest piece of the Address Bar (usually the name)
then stretch the Address bar back to a normal size and move it if
necessary. If the Button Bar or some other bar is to the right of it,
you may want to move that to a different position first.

Don't forget to ensure "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked in
View-Toolbars.

Thanks Alan. Your tip worked for me. I got the address
bar back. This newsgroup was more helpful in 5 minutes
than the 2 hours I spent on MS Help pages.
