lost add/remove function

i have xp home sp2. add or remove programs has lost the ability to
change/remove programs, how do i get it back?

Can you give us some more details what happens when you click to
Control Panel > Add and remove Programs?

hi Thorsten
i can open add or remove as normal but the option to change/remove programs
is not available, on some programs it shows the size, but not all.
