I've lost access/icon for MS-DOS (32-bit) shell in Win2K Pro (it's
gone from Start menu as well).

I've been running a Symantec Anti-Virus for a year w. daily Virus
updates, Ad-Aware, and other blocker software so I'm stumped as to how
my Win2K Pro OS got corrupted.

Is there a utility, or manual steps that can restore this. I use my
command window daily.

DOS is an operating system - presumably you are referring
to the Command Prompt under Win2000 instead. Create a
new icon - its reference is c:\winnt\system32\cmd.exe.
