Lost Access database files?

I created a database file consisting of names & addresses to print envelopes
for a wedding. Printed the envelopes and now my database file is gone. When
I open Access, it is listed there but when I try to open it, a blank
Microsoft Access window opens. When the envelopes were printing, I saved it
in My Documents and there is a file there but when I try to open it from
there I have the same result as when I try to open it from Access. Just a
blank page. I don't know what to do to make this file usable again. I
can't imagine that all of my info is gone. Please help.

First, I normally save a copy (just in case).

Then -- have you tried to repair the database (Tools/Database/Repair)?
