lost a personal folder

I had two personal folders in my outlook 2003 on a vista computer. I
accidentally closed the wrong folder. Now I can't find it. All I can find is
the incmplete one

What would be the best way to search for the missing personal file in Vista?

try doing a full system search for anything with a .pst extension. in
other words search for *.pst, thats one place to start. unfortunatly
I do not know enough about vista to know outlook default folder for
these files.

Would you please explain what you mean by "closed the wrong folder"? How did
you do that? Do you mean you had a second pst file that you removed from the
Outlook configuration and you want to re-configure Outlook to see that pst
file again?

If it's a second pst file that you need to open again, click on File -
Open - Outlook Data File. Then browse to the pst file that you had
previously closed (obviously, you'll need to know where this file is and the
name of it), hightlight it and click on Open.
