Lost 35GB of disk space!

I have a situation where I have a 67GB RAID5 volume that
reports it is out of space. There are only 4 root folders
on the volume and they add up to 32GB. So where is my
other 35GB? I have checked for hidden files, am currently
listing streams (taking its sweet time!) and pulling my
hair out at the same time!

I am not sure if this issue has been creeping up on me or
if it happened over night. I think the later. I cleared
4.5GB off on Thursday evening and by Saturday morning it
had all gone...480KB left.

The hardware is a Dell 2500, with a Perc3/Di raid
controller. I have checked through all the hardware with
Dell OpenManage and it all looks fine. From Windows
perspective everything reports OK also.

Any give me some suggestions on what is happening and how
to diagnose the problem.

Have you run ChkDsk (possible large number of bad sectors)? Have you tried
NTSFInfo (www.sysinternals.com) - it will give you the MFT size and a good
summary of usage?
