lost 25 characters for certificate of authen. reach 1/2 way insta

hi there, i thru out my certificate of authen by accident
in the garbage. now i have only the package and part no.
i reached halfway installing xp but it asked for the #
again. i had only like 30 mins left to finish. can anyone
help or tell me how in the world to get it if i can get
it back
