Losing settings

After customizing my calendar's current view, all the new settings are lost
after I close Outlook and open it again, say, the next morning. What can I
do to keep the settings I changed, e.g., the time interval from the default
30 minutes to 60 minutes?
 
Thanks for the reply. As I am not too technically savvy, can you give me
specific instructions on how to find "detect and repair" and then run it?
 
Click "Help" then "Detect and repair".
Don't know how it works or what it does, so can't help you there.
 
I did the Office Diagnostics, and found nothing wrong... What else can I try
to make the custom settings stick?
