Losing internet connection but not LAN

There is one computer in my network that keeps losing internet connectivity.
However, it can still see and access the other computers in the network. If
I repair the connection then the internet will start functioning again, but
only for a while. Sometimes it will work for a few hours and sometimes only
a few minutes. There are 23 other workstations on the network and they seem
to work fine. I've tried switching cables. I don't think it could be a
hardware issue since this machine always has access to the other machines.

What are the workstation's DNS settings? Is it set to only look to the
server (properly) and the server looks to itself with forwarders set
for Internet access?

It's set up to automatically obtain ip and dns just like all the other
workstations. It's a very strange situation.
