Losing Graphics

Here is my problem: I assemble a Power Point presentation in which I insert
a variety of graphics (which reside in the same folder) in various pages.
The next day when I re-open the PP file, some of those graphics have a big X
in their place instead of the graphic. The original graphic is still
residing in the folder and I did nothing else. What causes these graphics to
disappear from PP and how do I prevent it from occurring?

Thanks,

Vic

This is one of those age-old questions/problems that rank right up there
with this one: "If we evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?"

Some of the monkeys were too smart to fall for it?

I also heard that some monkeys might have prayed harder than others!
Wouldn't that have been a "conflict of interest"?
