losing cell format while saving in CSV type.

I have a data "001234", "001235", and so on (data with
leading zeros). Formated (using Custom category) the cell
to keep these leading zeros.

Once the workbook saved in CSV file type and reopened, the
leading zeros are eliminated. While saving in CSV file
type, system giving warning message, all formates will go
away.

Microsoft fix this problem in latest versions, or is there
anyway that we can fix this problem.

I appreciate your support.

thanks,
anil

Hi
no change as *.csv files don't store formats (they're just plain ASCII
files)
