You have DSL? There are filters on the phones? If not, add them.

What is the DSL modem you are using?

That doesn't answer either question Mr. Keenan asked you. Are you using
the filters that go in the phone jacks? If not, add them and see if
that solves the issue. Not having filters on every jack on the same
phone line as your DSL will cause the issue you are experiencing.

What is the make/model of your DSL modem?

I'm not going to play 20 questions. Maybe someone else will.

If you want help, you've got to give details. This will show you what to
include in a newsgroup post if you want to get focused help:

DSL line filters must be placed on each/every phone jack that a
phone/fax/faxmodem is connected to.

Line filter must not be on DSL modem telco line wire/jack.

If these are correctly installed, and you still have the problem, you need to
replace the DSL modem unit. Either you "rent" it from your broadband Internet
provider (have them change it0 or buy a new one.
