Hi Cari,
Thanks for your help........but I've given up . The reason I wanted t
use the parallel port was that I had some other bit's and bob'
attached to the available USB ports. I thought I'd try the printer o
USB just to see what would happen and lo and behold it all works fine
I'll have to forsake one of my USB gadgets for the sake of my printer.
