Lose audio during editing and playback

I have used MM2 last year with great success( No Problems). Suddenly as i
work on building my project and jump from one start point to another I lose
audio playback and sometimes the video playback in the preview freezes.
Requires me to exit out and reload to correct the problem? Wanted to try to
reinstall MM@ but it look like you have to reload SP2? Any Help?

some codecs might have come into your system since you used it before... see
