Lose and loose

Could people please acquaint themselves with the correct spelling of the
words "Loose" - meaning "not tight" and "Lose" meaning "Fail to keep or
maintain".
Everyone from doctors and lawyers to street sweepers seem to have this arse
about face and it is very ANNOYING.

Also note the words "to" and "too" for the same reasons.

do'nt !== don't

Velveeta !== cheese

Spam !== meat

winmodem !== modem
