loosing restore points

Yesterday I had had to "repair" windows and I have lost all restore points.
It made correct restore points as each update was installed but today I see
no restore points from yesterday. It says it is monitoring c: . DO I have
a setting wrong or should I reinstall the system restore?

NO! It is normal for the restore points to disappear, whenever you do a
repair re-insta;; of Windows. This is considered to "reset" Windows, just
like when Windows was first installed.

Thank you..but I reinstalled yesterday and put in all the updates and saw
all the restore points yesterday. I even created a manual restore point
that I saw listed also. Today I cannot click on any from yesterday. I
cannot click on the day and see anything--did you understand me? should I
just wait until tomorrow and see what happens to todays restore points?

It is now Moday AM and the restore points from yesterday are there. thank
you for your help..I am trying to resolve an issue with netframework and it
seems that maybe when I manually uninstall the net framework it looses the
restore points too..but it is working..Thank you again.
