Excel Loop through directory Copy Word Docs to Excel

I have many Word documents by month and need to copy them into Excel e.g. Workbook = Oct, worksheets = 1 per document.

Can this be done using VBA from within Excel please?

I don't know how to do this with VBA, but there is an application for about £10 ($20) that can do it for you (I've not used it, but I found it via google). There is a free trial to give it a test:
