Lookup value in one column & add the values in adjacent columns

My sheet has repeating values in column "A" i.e. 1, 2, 3,or 4.
i wish to lookup the numbers 1's and sum the adjacent cloumn.

1 1 120
2 3 100
3 4 50
4 1 120

Hi,

Try this forumla:

Apply this formula in B6
{=SUM(IF($A$1:$A$4=A6,$B$1:$B$4,FALSE))}

This is an array formula and must be entered with CTRL+Shift+Enter and not
just enter. If you do it correctly Excel will put curly brackets around it
{}. You can't type these yourself

2 3 100
3 4 50
4 1 120

Forgot to mention how to get the value in A6
Please follow the below mentioned Steps

Select your list of names then
Data|Filter|Advanced filter
Selecr 'Copy to new location
Check 'Unique values only'
Enter an address to copy to (I used A6)
Click OK

You will get a unique list in A6
