LOOKUP or IF

Col1 - Col2 - Col 3
NameA - 10 - 20
NameB - 30 - 40
NameC - 50 - 60


If I want to find out

Row 4 : ?? finds or looks in the table and puts the Name correspondin
value 10
Row 5 : I will insert Value from Col2, e.g. 10
(the Row 4 answer should be NameA)

In the above answer all I would do is put the value in Col2 and th
formuls in Row 4 should automatically pick up the name in front o
that.

Now using the Same table without Sorting I want

Row 6 : ?? Name
Row 7 : 60 (and this gives the Name for value 60)

Hi,

try,

A4 =INDEX(A1:A3,MATCH(A5,B1:B3))

and

A6 =INDEX(A1:A3,MATCH(A7,C1:C3,0))

Where A5 and A7 contain your lookup values.
