Hi, I am trying to build a lookup that will return a correspondin
result if the entered value is anywhere within a 2-column range o
values.
For example, if the value entered is anywhere between values in A or
in any row, the result will be the value in column C in that row. So
enter an hourly wage of $18.25, the result is 5%.
A.............. B.................C
Hourly Wage Range.....Credit%
$00.00.....$17.99.........0%
$18.00.....$18.50.........5%
$18.51.....$19.00.........6%
I can only figure out how to build a lookup based on data in a singl
column or row. I know I could build a column that includes ever
integer within the range, but is there a way to make it work with th
ranges as I have them?
I am using Excel 2000 9.0.2720
Thank you, Heathe
