Lookup field

I have created a Lookup field through the Wizard in my table then I deleted
relationship between tables which was created by wizard but the lookup list
is still in the datasheet view in the table how can I remove that drop dawn
list?

Open the table in design view. Select this field, and select the Lookup tab on
the field properties in the lower left. Change the display type from Combo Box
to Textbox.

And breathe a sigh of relief that you're rid of this misfeature!

Hi, I have the exact same problem, except even when I switched the lookup to
text I still can't delete the lookup field that I no longer want. It says it
can't delete because it is "part of one or more relationships" however in the
relationship window there are NO relationships what so ever.

This is in Access 2007 and I'm a new user so I've probably royally messed
something up...
