Can anyone help?!
I need a function to lookup a date in a series of dates, and return information from the same row, or the most recent previous date, if certain criteria are met. Making any sense!
Table 1
Column A - Date Artemia Prepared - Weekly event
Column B - Artemia Type
Column C - Batch Number
And other columns!
Table 2
Column A - Date Artemia Used - Daily event
Column B - Artemia Type
Column C - Batch Number
So i need a formula for table 2 column C. I need match the date from Table 2 column A with the most recent previous date in Table 1 Column A and return the value in Table 1 Column C, if the values for the artemia type are the same.
Any ideas would be most welcome.
