Looking IR Remote/PC Recomendations

I am building a Media PC for my home theatre and wonder if anyone has any
experience and/or recommendations on an IR remote system designed for a PC.

experience and/or recommendations on an IR remote system designed for a PC.

If you already have a remote that you like, you can just build a
receiver for your PC. The Lirc website has plans to make your own.
Winlirc is the version that works under Windows if that's going to be
your OS.
