My Epox 8K33A+ has a problem with
the keyboard and I guess I need to replace the motherboard.. I would
like to use as much of what I have already, like the cpu, memory, hard
drives, AGP card, and sound are working fine...

I loved this board as I was also able to use the Swiftech MCX462
heatsink, which is one big fan..

Anyway, here is what I have in it now:

My Computer:
Epox 8K3A+ Rev. 1.2 (BIOS 3/28/02)
ATI 8500DV 64MB
Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum (PCI Slot 3)
Athlon XP 1800+ AGOGA Unlocked
512 MB OCZ PC-2700 CAS 2
(2) Maxtor 40.0GB ATA/133 - 6L040J2
(1) Maxtor 13.6 Gig ATA/66
Hewlett Packard CD-Writer 9100i
DVD|ASUS 16X E616
Linksys LNE100Tx Ethernet PCI Card
Antec 1080 w/430 True Power
Swiftech MCX462
Windows XP Pro Full OEM - Version 5.1.2600

Any help would be great..

Thanks

You have tried another keyboard? And what is the problem? You've also tried
a USB keyboard as an alternative?

Hi,
I have a USB keyboard which works fine with my other systems, so I know
it's a problem with something on the Epox motherboard.

This was a few years back when this happened and I've been gone for
over 2 years and just not able to start working on it again..

The problem started with a bad power supply which is what I think might
have blown out
the keyboard on the motherboard, but that is just a guess..

Any help would be great

Thanks
